10.12.2015Delegates from Umweltdienste Bohn assured themselves of the Rocket Mill today at Wietersdorf. The Rocket Mill is A TEC’s innovation for alternative fuel preparation which combines drying and grinding in one step. We realized a few tests with different input matieral to show - among other things - that the input material only requires one pre-shredding step previously. The results from today's tests were very satisfying.

02.12.2015 - A TEC is Lafarge-Holcim's partner for every kind of modernization and optimization of the pyroprocess in Ternate since 2005. At last we installed new raw mill cyclones. The result was a reduction of return dust by 66%, a reduced power consumption and a low pressure drop of the cyclones (6,1 mbar) as well as an excellent seperation efficiency of 95%. Additionally we modified the calciner orifice, calciner fuel feeding points and the tertiary air and ensured an increase of the amount of alternative fuels in the calciner.
15.11.2015 - The 17th TCMA took place in Thailand from 29. - 30. October 2015. Dr. Stefan Kern from the A TEC Group lectured about alternative fuels in cement plants and A TEC's calciner design for 100% alternative fuel utilization.

The A TEC Group took part at the 13th TCMB International Technical Seminar & Exhibition in Antalya from 7.-10. October 2015. Michael Suppaner, Area Sales Manager and Martin Willitsch, Area Sales Manager, represented A TEC together with Elisabeth Göres. The main topic this year was sustainable environment and energy.

In order to ensure long-term satisfaction with A TEC and A TEC GRECO products, we feel the obligation to provide our customers will full-coverage, top quality, and above all, flexible support and services tailored to their individual needs throughout the entire product life cycle.

With the world’s cement industry constantly looking for ways to cut production-energy costs, there has been a strong move towards the use of alternative fuels.  Firing with materials such as municipal solid waste (MSW), plastics, sewage sludge, biofuels, waste wood, used tyres and other biomass is on the increase, replacing more expensive traditional fuels such as coal.
