To achieve a high level of heat exchange between the gas and the raw flour in the riser, inlet flour boxes (known as “splash boxes”)are used. This improves the distribution of the flour into the hot, flowing gas, makingthe heat exchange more efficientand, as a result, reducing the specific heat consumption in the heat exchanger system.
The feed hopper features a specially designed flare at the inlet to the riser pipe, which ensures a uniform distribution of flour throughout the outer cross-section of the riser pipe.
This results in the following improvements:
- Optimized and uniform distribution of flour in the rising chamber, resulting in better utilization of the rising chamber's cross-sectional area
- No increased pressure loss in the riser pipe
- Optimal residence time and, consequently, improved heat exchange in the riser
- Lower heat exchanger outlet temperatures
- Increasing the degree of calcination in the hot meal and, consequently, the clinker quality
- Simple Design and Installation
- Long service life
The fluidization system ensures a constant flow of flour even under more extreme operating conditions.
